Daryl Sung

About me

Daryl is blessedly married to his best friend, Melissa, and is a proud father to two lovely daughters, Joshlyn and Zechlyn. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he played football at the secondary and JC levels and enjoys everything from racket games to rock climbing & outdoor adventures.

After serving for 12 years as a Physical Education teacher, Daryl heeded God’s call in 2022 to transition into a new season of full-time ministry. This "Sports and Family Mission" mandate allows him to leverage his years of experience in motor skill development and parenthood as the training ground for his current calling.

Serving with Sports Net, Daryl uses sports as a platform and family as a strategy to connect with individuals and disciple communities. His vision is to equip families and athletes through intentional fellowships and digital outreach, boldly declaring Kingdom truths to inspire the global body of Christ. He also champions the "Kingdom Runners" vision — using running as a metaphor for the Christian race to build a global community that stays physically and spiritually fit for Jesus.
